Kyoto, the old capital of Japan, is a popular place for international visitors. We wanted to create a comfortable space for them and the young locals who love music, so we turned a 100-year-old townhouse on the Kamogawa River into a unique bar.
Crafthouse focuses on craft beer, espresso, delicious food, and great music. Most Japanese restaurants play music but few of them have a good vibe. We installed Pioneer Professional Audio speakers to differentiate our venue from the rest. With a wide sound range and a solid balance, we’ve created a space that offers comfortable listening and classic Japanese-style design. I manage 3 bars, and compared to the other 2, I believe it’s much easier to have a conversation in Crafthouse, even if the volume of the sound system is turned up high. And as a result of this, our customers have been really impressed. We expect that in the future we’ll be able to attract more music enthusiasts as we host live shows and DJ gigs. Please come and see us when you visit Kyoto.
